Both the HQ15 and the HQ19 sleep three and go anywhere a Black Series trailer can go. But they're built for two different kinds of off-grid traveler. Here's how to choose.
| HQ15 | HQ19 | |
|---|---|---|
| Sleeps | 3 | 3 |
| Bed | Queen | King |
| Bathroom | Full wet bath | Full wet bath |
| Power | Solar + 2000W inverter | Premium off-grid systems |
| Water | Standard | 64-gallon tank |
| Built for | Capable couples' trips | Extended expeditions |
| Starting price | $54,899 | $59,899 |
The HQ15 is the value-and-versatility pick. You get a full wet bath, a queen bed, and a serious 2000W inverter-and-solar setup in a compact, capable package — for $5,000 less than the HQ19. If most of your trips are long weekends and week-long getaways near your favorite trailheads, the HQ15 has everything you need and nothing you don't.
Choose the HQ15 if: you want the best balance of capability and price, and a queen bed is plenty.
The HQ19 is the expedition pick. The two upgrades that matter most for long, remote trips are its king bed — genuinely rare in a trailer this off-road capable — and its 64-gallon fresh-water tank, which meaningfully extends how long you can camp before refilling. Paired with premium off-grid systems, it's designed to disappear into the backcountry for longer.
Choose the HQ19 if: you take extended off-grid trips, value the king bed, and want maximum water range.
It comes down to trip length and priorities. For value and most adventures, the HQ15. For extended expeditions and the bigger bed and water tank, the HQ19 — for $5,000 more.
