Black Series Warranty & Service

Black Series Warranty & Service

Every new Black Series trailer is covered by a factory warranty issued and administered by Black Series RV Inc., 2072 W 11th St, Upland, CA 91786. This page sets out what is covered, for how long, what is excluded, and how to make a claim — so you know exactly where you stand before you buy.

Coverage at a glance

Coverage Term Starts Transfers to a new owner
Comprehensive — materials and workmanship 1 year Date of delivery Yes
Structural 15 years Date of delivery Yes
A-frame chassis Lifetime of the trailer Date of delivery Yes

Your Black Series warranty transfers with the trailer. If you sell, all remaining coverage — including the 15-year structural and lifetime A-frame warranties — follows the trailer to the new owner. There is no transfer fee: the new owner simply sends the VIN and proof of sale to info@blackseries.net. Transferable structural coverage is rare in this category, and it directly protects your resale value.

Off-road use is covered

Taking your trailer off-road does not void your warranty. These trailers are built for it — hot-dipped galvanized chassis, independent dual-shock suspension, sealed underbody protection, and off-road tires are standard equipment, not options. Normal off-road and off-grid use is exactly what the warranty is written to cover.

What is excluded is damage from accident, misuse, or overloading beyond GVWR — the same limits that apply to any vehicle warranty.

What is covered

The 1-year comprehensive warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use across the trailer — structure, plumbing, electrical, solar and battery system, cabinetry, and factory-installed appliances. The 15-year structural warranty covers the trailer's load-bearing structure, and the lifetime warranty covers the A-frame chassis for as long as the trailer exists.

What is not covered

  • Cosmetic damage — scratches, dents, fading, and similar appearance items that don't affect function.
  • Consumable items — parts that wear by design, such as tires, brake pads, filters, bulbs, fuses, and sealants that require periodic renewal.
  • Damage from accident, misuse, overloading beyond GVWR, unapproved modifications, or failure to maintain the trailer per the Service & Maintenance Manual.

Our service commitments

  • 24-hour response. Warranty and support requests get a response from our Upland team within 24 hours on business days.
  • 48-hour parts shipment. Approved warranty parts ship from our Upland warehouse within 48 hours.

Hold us to these. If we ever miss, email jqiu@blackseries.net — it goes to the CEO, and he reads it.

How to make a claim

  1. Register your trailer on the warranty registration page after delivery — it makes every later claim faster.
  2. Report the issue through the warranty service form, or call (833) 822-6737 or email info@blackseries.net. Include your VIN, photos, and a description. Report defects promptly when you discover them; transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery per our shipping policy.
  3. We respond within 24 hours with a claim decision or a request for more information.
  4. We arrange the repair — at our Upland facility, through an authorized dealer near you, or by shipping parts (within 48 hours of approval) for a local shop to install. Contact us before commissioning third-party repair work so we can authorize it — that's what keeps the repair covered.

Safety recalls

Recall repairs are free regardless of warranty status and regardless of how many owners the trailer has had.
