Which factory specifications are used?
This planner uses 400 Ah for HQ15, HQ17, HQ19, HQ21 and HQ21 Balcony; 200 Ah for HQ12, TH19 and TH22. Solar is 600 W for Base and 1,200 W for Yellow Stone and Rocky Mountain. Battery capacity is based on the selected model. Confirm your model year and package with Black Series before planning a trip.
How is my off-grid estimate calculated?
Usable battery = rated Ah × 80%. Daily solar recovery = solar watts × peak sun hours × 75% ÷ 12.8 V. When daily use exceeds solar recovery, estimated days = usable battery ÷ daily deficit. No-sun reserve = usable battery ÷ daily use. Solar-balanced means estimated daily generation meets consumption under the selected conditions; it is not a guarantee of unlimited runtime.
What can change my actual runtime?
Shade, weather, temperature, battery condition and appliance settings all affect runtime. These daily energy estimates do not verify inverter peak capacity or overnight energy timing. High-power appliances, including air conditioning, need separate sizing.
