"Does it have a real bathroom?" is the question that ends most off-road trailer conversations. Teardrops and pop-ups answer no. Many hard-wall off-road trailers offer a wet bath, where the shower and toilet share one fiberglass room. A separate dry bathroom with a shower stall, a vanity, and a door, plus an onboard washing machine, is rare below $100,000. Here is what each Black Series model actually has.
| Model | Bathroom type | Washing machine | Sleeps | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HQ12 | Fiberglass wet bath | No | 4 | $49,899 |
| HQ15 | Separate bathroom with shower and vanity | No | 3 | $54,899 |
| HQ17 | Fiberglass wet bath | No | 5 | $59,899 |
| HQ19 | Private en-suite with vanity | Yes, onboard | 3 | $59,899 |
| HQ21 | Separate private bathroom | No | 4 | $69,899 |
| HQ21 Balcony | Separate private bathroom | No | 4 | $69,899 |
| TH19 | Fiberglass wet bath | No | 6 | $59,899 |
| TH22 | Full bathroom | No | 6 | $69,899 |
The HQ19 is the model built for people who stay out for weeks. Its en-suite bathroom includes a vanity and an onboard washing machine, which changes what a long trip feels like: no laundromat detours, no bag of damp clothes riding in the truck. Pair that with 64 gallons of fresh water, 400Ah of lithium, 600W of solar (1,200W on Yellow Stone and Rocky Mountain), and it is the closest thing in the lineup to a small apartment on independent suspension. HQ19 off-grid setup guide.
A separate bathroom invites longer showers. Every Black Series carries about 64 gallons fresh and 26 gallons grey, with a triple-filtered drinking-water tank on top. That supports two people for roughly five to seven days of normal use, or longer with navy showers. Yellow Stone and Rocky Mountain editions add a reverse-osmosis drinking-water system and tank heating for winter. How to shower off-grid without running dry.
Most off-road trailers under $60,000 have either no interior bathroom (teardrops such as the Off Grid Trailers Expedition) or a wet bath. A separate bathroom and a washing machine at the HQ19's $59,899 is unusual; read our broader guide to off-road trailers with bathrooms and the Outdoors RV comparison for the alternatives.
Couples who want the best bathroom in the lineup: HQ19. Couples who want a separate bath in a lighter, half-ton-friendly trailer: HQ15. Families: the HQ21 for a dry bath with four beds, or the HQ17 if you will trade the wet bath for two bunks. Compare every model or request a quote.
