Where the HQ15 wins
The HQ15 is the value-and-versatility pick. You get a separate en-suite bathroom, a queen bed, and the full 400Ah/600W/2,000W off-grid power package in a compact, capable trailer — for $5,000 less than the HQ19, and roughly 1,200 lb less to tow. If most of your trips are long weekends and week-long getaways near your favorite trailheads, the HQ15 has everything you need and nothing you don't.
Choose the HQ15 if: you want the best balance of capability, weight, and price in the en-suite lineup.
Where the HQ19 wins
The HQ19 is the expedition pick. The upgrades that matter most for long, remote trips are its four extra feet of interior length, the onboard washing machine in the en-suite — genuinely rare in a trailer this off-road capable — a larger triple-filtered drinking-water system (15.85 gal vs 11.88 gal), and a 10,000 lb GVWR that leaves far more cargo margin for extended stays. Premium leather and timber finishes round out the step up.
Choose the HQ19 if: you take extended off-grid trips and want the extra living space, laundry, and cargo capacity.
What about the HQ17 at the same price?
The HQ17 also starts at $59,899 — same price as the HQ19, different mission. The HQ17 spends the money on family sleeping (a queen plus two bunks, sleeping five) with a fiberglass wet bath, while the HQ19 spends it on couple's luxury — the larger en-suite with vanity and washing machine and a longer living area for two. Pick by who's coming along, not by price.
The bottom line
