Days 1-2: Walkthrough & Systems Check
Before your first trip, do a full systems check at home: fill the fresh water tank and run the pump, check the battery and solar readout on the control panel, test the fridge, A/C, and furnace, and walk the exterior checking the hitch, tires, and stone-guard panels. Getting familiar with where everything is now saves confusion later at a campsite.
Register Your Warranty
Do this in the first week, before you forget. Every Black Series carries a 1-year comprehensive warranty, a 15-year structural warranty, and a lifetime warranty on the A-frame chassis — registering promptly means there's no gap in coverage if something needs a service call. Take a Short Shakedown Trip
Before a big trip, do a one- or two-night stay close to home. This is where you'll find the small things — a cabinet latch that needs adjusting, a setting you forgot how to use — while you're still within easy reach of home and your dealer.
Learn Your Power Budget
Every Black Series ships with solar and a lithium battery bank standard. Spend a day or two watching how your battery percentage moves with normal use — lights, fridge, water pump, and charging devices — so you know what a full day of dry camping actually costs you in battery, well before you're relying on it somewhere remote.
Practice Towing and Backing Up
